Digital Marketing Intern
Location: Throwing Shapes, Mill St., Dublin 8
Commitment: 1 day/week (in studio), flexible around studies
Duration: 3 months
Start Date: End of September 2026
About Us:
Throwing Shapes is looking for a creative, analytical and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for three months.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, e-commerce and online sales within a growing creative business.
Role Overview:
You’ll support the Throwing Shapes team across digital marketing, paid advertising, SEO, content and e-commerce - helping us reach new audiences, promote our classes and increase online bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and optimisation of Meta advertising campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance, website traffic and bookings
- Update website content and optimise pages for SEO
- Support email marketing and customer campaigns
- Create and schedule social media content
- Capture and edit short-form video
- Prepare simple reports on marketing performance
- Research trends, competitors and new marketing opportunities
Essential:
- An interest in digital marketing, e-commerce and social media
- Some experience with Meta Ads Manager and paid social
- A basic understanding of SEO
- Comfortable reviewing data and using it to improve performance
- Confident creating and editing short-form video
- Strong visual eye and good copywriting skills
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
Desirable:
- Experience with Shopify, email marketing, Google Analytics or Google Search Console
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok
- An interest in ceramics, craft, design or creative communities
This is an internship, so we don’t expect you to know everything. We’re looking for someone with a good foundation, plenty of initiative and a genuine interest in learning how digital marketing contributes to sales and business growth.
