Refund policy

Classes and Events

To request a cancellation and refund, you must email refunds@throwingshapes.ie.

Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to class, first class of a course or event/talk are fully refundable. There will be no refunds once the class or event begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to another class. Unfortunately we cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason.

Should a class not fill sufficiently, Throwing Shapes may cancel or reschedule it one week prior to the first class session. We will notify customers of this via email.

Products

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order confirmation or proof of purchase.

To request a product return, you should contact us at refunds@throwingshapes.ie. If your return request is accepted your return will need to be posted or dropped to the studio on Mill Street, Dublin 8. We do not organise return postage nor do we accept responsibility for returns left to the studio until they are handed to a member of staff (please do not leave at the front door). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or the incorrect item, so that we can resolve any issues. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and seconds ceramics. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges on any products, classes, tickets. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we recommend following the refund request process listed above.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
